Désirée Zalatan is the founder and President of CompuEase Learning Systems Inc.

Accompanying her is her partner Pierre – partner and husband of thirty-three years. He is now the CEO of CompuEase since 2002 the year he left his Senior Economist position as well as his part time professorship at University of Ottawa to join this 19 year old company. Even if some days he wished he was totally retired Pierre loves being in charge and the two of us is a living proof that husband and wife can work together in harmony.
Désirée was inspired to start her own business after she was given special computer training for trainers with a company then called DOMUS back in 1986 and from her part time help teaching at personnel agencies. Désirée brought creativity to the teaching profession and was able to establish positive rapport with people and customer-oriented thinking. After a lot of praise, she then decided to turn in her hat and took a cash-out opportunity by her government department (The Correctional Service of Canada) to start her own company.
Whether the class is made of one, five or fifty students (some may even joined the class free in order to give them that little push to help them better their life), CompuEase offers the same teaching quality that has become the standard in the IT community.
Besides teaching courses on a regular basis in both official languages, Désirée supervises experienced and highly qualified freelance instructors and their evaluations from students helps maintain that superior level of professionalism that has been a trade mark of the company. Désirée also takes care of developing and researching the company’s training material for most of the courses offered by CompuEase. All of this while playing an important role in the day-to-day operations of her company – I think that’s what makes us so special: when you come to CompuEase, you deal with people who care.
Both Zalatans have gathered a vast knowledge in a multitude of application software and they used can count on a vast list of experienced and exciting trainers when there are requests for other training beyond their expertise.
