Excel Functions (Formulas)

Course length: 3 hours – ½ Day

Excel functions are the key to providing financial results from data. There are hundreds of Excel functions, each with their own purpose and usefulness yet with common elements that make learning new functions easier.

The purpose of this course is to learn how to create and apply Excel functions to generate mathematical results from data.

Course Objectives:
After completing this course, students will be able to:
- Identify which function to use to generate results
- Employ a number of strategies for creating functions
- Build their own functions using the fx tool
- Add multiple worksheets together
- Utilize array formulas

Target Student:

This course is designed for Excel users with some knowledge of entering financial data but would like to explore more mathematical functions.
